Journal- Select a global issue topic to use in the next two units of class. When you hear/read the words "global issue", what comes to mind? Elaborate and explain yourself.
When I hear the words "global issue", I think of things that affect all of the people of the world. For instance, poverty can be found everywhere. Violence and attacks on innocent people occur everywhere for a variety of reasons. Global warming affects the earth that we all live on. All of these things are problems that we all face whether or not we realize it. Global issues are very serious and it will take all of us to try and overcome the problems they cause.
