An infographic has the purpose of displaying information in a simple way that invites others to look at it and keep reading. It gives a lot of information, but is much more appealing than a research paper. An infographic, when done well, is very effective. It allows a lot of different statistics or findings to be displayed in a nice format. However, an infographic can become too crowded and therefore be overwhelming. Statistics are ideal for an infographic. That way, many different ways to display said information can be utilized. There are only some instances when I could use an infographic in another class. Most of the time, the medium for our projects is assigned to us, but in the case that it is not, I could definitely use an infographic to change it up a bit.
